Scythe Kaze Flex 120 PWM Fan
The PWM variants of the Kaze Flex PWM fan series, which are bundled with the award winning Mugen 5 CPU Cooler and were praised by editiors, are now available separately on the retail market. The sealed fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) ensures an average life-span of more than 120,000 hours. Decouplers attached to the fan frame reduce the transmission of vibrations and thus contribute to a very low noise level. The Kaze Flex PWM fan series is available in two speed options and offers the choice between a well balanced all around range or an absolute low-noise solution.

Sealed Precision FDB
In order to guarantee an exceptionally high level of stability and durability, the fans from the Kaze Flex Series are equipped with a self-contained fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB). The bearing and the spindle are made entirely of high quality compressed metal and lubricated by a special oil film resistant to temperatures of up to 250C° / 480F°. This drastically reduces friction, ensuring smooth operation and minimized wear, which results in an average life-span of 120 000 hours.

Integrated Anti-Vibration System
The Kaze Flex fan series is equipped with vibration and shock absorbing rubber pads which cover the mounting holes. These decouplers effectively eliminate possible vibrations and allow low-noise operation.

PWM Connection
The PWM models of the Kama Flex series enable the fans to be controlled by pulse width modulation using a PWM connector on a mainboard. This dynamically adjusts the speed to the respective operating conditions and prevents unnecessary noise generation.

A 50 cm / 19.68 inch long sleeved cable, as well as an adapter for direct connection to the power supply, allows installation in most system layouts.
